Going to Prom: Hair

Well, that season is coming up...I'm pretty sure. But even if your prom is years away, it wouldn't hurt to plan. After all, Prom is one of the biggest events of your entire LIFE!

It can get really frustrating to figure out some parts but no matter! so, let's plan!

For starters, your hair can't be disgusting, it's one of the most important parts. Well, technically EVERY part of the outfit is important, but never trust technicalities. EVER. So, back to the subject, your hair has to look nice.  I have dreadlocks in my hair so if you're like me, your options got cut waaayyy short.
So, here are the options. There are options I classify as good, and bad. The good ones have a happy sign, ^_^, and the bad ones have a sad sign, :[ ,

Dreadlocks:

  • Wear your hair in a high ponytail with small ringlets of hair on the sides dangling down. ^_^

Wear your hair down with nothing done to it. :[

Wear you hair down in a ponytail with bangs. ^_^ or :[

    No Dreadlocks:

Wear your hair in a high ponytail with small ringlets of hair on the sides dangling down. ^_^

Wear your hair down with nothing done to it. :[

Wear your hair down in a ponytail with bangs. ^_^ or :[

Wear your hair in a french braid.

Wear your hair in lots of braids.

    Wear your hair with barrettes.

Well, that's all I have for today. I can't fit everything into one post, so tell me what you thought of this post and I'll do more. If you hated it, then I'll never do one like this again! Bye!! ^_^

    Love,

What to Wear When...Going to a Quinceanera

How to look amazing at a Quinceanera, and yet not steal the show.

Quinceanera: (in Latin America and among Latinos) a celebration of a girl's fifteenth birthday and her transition from childhood to adulthood, typically involving a mass followed by a party.

Here are some dresses you don't want to wear if you aren't the star of the show:

What's Wrong?

First rule out pink. It's too bright, so no bright colors. White is an exception, though. It's bright, but classy. Black is okay too, also classy. Also, no puffy dresses. It calls too much attention. Stick with some small, and sleek. Remember when it comes to these kinds of parties, stick to the 3 S's:

Slick, Sleek and Chic!

*Yeah, I know the last one isn't an "s" word, but who cares right!
